That’s why we want to introduce you to Richard Strong, our Global Account Manager. Whether he’s helping customers or our internal team, Richard is constantly making sure supply chains run as efficiently as possible.
Always Something New
Richard has been with our team for over eight years, and in that time, he’s learned how to roll with the punches. After all, the logistics industry always has something going on.“I come in every day with an agenda,” Richard said. “I’d say within fifteen to thirty minutes, that list is shot and I’m just supporting where I need to support…We’re customer-facing and internally facing, so we kind of have our hands in a little bit of everything.”
That energetic environment makes for exciting days and a constant need to problem solve. Luckily, Richard is up for the challenge. He’s always ready to help out in any way that he can.
A Caring Team
Richard is always motivated to do his best for our customers and for his team members. That’s because looking out for others is part of our culture.
“Our culture is very scrappy and creative and family oriented,” he said. In fact, once, when his daughter was in Girl Scouts, she went from desk to desk to sell cookies during work. “She used to ask me to sell her cookies for her, and I’d go, ‘No. Go sell them yourself!’” Richard remembers.
Our team loved being able to chat with her and purchase some delicious cookies, all from the comfort of their desks.
